Let's talk politics!

the subject: Counterfeit shoes
who is for it and who is against it?

For my birthday I got these beautiful Sergio Rossi pumps as a gift. I have been wanting them since January and you can go back to previous posts to prove it.

I found this funny birthday picture to share.. I am only missing to feature the black studded Brian Atwood sandals aka my new favorite pain.

Well the point is that the very next day at the mall I saw these at a Bebe store

Exact replicas minus the Bebe logo and a barely noticeable python pattern in the platform area.

That same day I went out with my friend and she was wearing the exact same copy of my Louboutin Delics from Aldo minus the red sole.

and she paid $ 59.00

Although these aren't exactly counterfeit items I couldn't help getting a little bit upset

Making beautiful shoes affordable to all is a great thing, but if you are to make the same EXACT shoe where does the exclusivity of paying $ 1,000 goes?

for that make all beautiful shoes $ 59.00 and spare me the months  years of saving right?

..but then again maybe I am just being a cry baby

What are your thoughts on this subject? I am eager to know!

Modern Vintage

The DVF then..

and the DVF now..

A wrap dress never goes out of style.. which makes me wonder why it took me soo long to buy one! and now it's one of the best things I own.
1. it's comfortable
2.it's super easy to style
3.it's the perfect touch of classy today..tomorrow and 3 years from now.

After my first wrap purchase I can now say that a DVF wrap dress can do wonders for your body.
In display it looks a little plain (maybe that's why I always put off buying one) but once you try it on its a whole different dress.

Reason number 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 why I love DVF

Its my party and I cry If I want to!

Ladies this weekend I did everything BUT cry because Monday July 12, yours truly became 21 years old!!!
Why the excitement? Why not? Now when I am stressed I can actually say "I need a drink" without the embarrassment (not that I have ever actually said it).
...Anyways, moving on to outfits, Birthday girl got a few birthday presents (thanks boyfriend) to show you guys.

One for independence day

Ok this has nothing to do with independence day, but don't you guys just love finding dresses in your closet that you almost never wear but that are absolutely perfect for what you have set your mind to wear that specific day?

I most def. do!

That was the case with this DVF dress (which is one of my favorite dresses). It is like 3 seasons old which means almost vintage in fashion, but it never fails to bring a smile to my face :)

Paired with bebe belt and CL Gressimo mules.

by the way it is officially my birthday month!!

Happy 4th of July my loves

Au revoir

An inexpensive love

I don't mean to sound like a brat, but if there is one thing I like to splurge is on shoes. I can wear clothing from forever 21 without a problem, but when it comes to shoes I will rather save up than buy a pair of cheap ones just to take up closet space. With that being said.. these Zara peep toes made me swallow my previous statement in a second.

Only $ 99.00 and they are even cuter in person. I have gotten more compliments on these shoes than on any other hundred something pair I own.

So the lesson for me was "never say never" and the lesson for you..
Zara has great mid year sales!!

On me: Banana Republic skirt, Bebe shirt, Chanel bag, and diy necklace

Ciao! :)
