The devil wears numerous labels

I would just love LOVE to get my hands on Anna Dello Russo's closet. The Vogue Nippon fashion editor at large has the capacity of pulling off one gorgeous look after another, and she is known for her "straight out the runway looks" sight... Lucky her!
and as she puts it .....

                    So between FASHION and STYLE?
Absolutely FASHION... is less
pretentious, is authentic.
FASHION is declaration of own freedom.

and you've got plenty of fashion and style!

Here are some of the best of the best

... and since behind every fashionable woman there is most likely a very fashionable man..
Here is Anna's sidekick/partner in crime Fashion with whom she is often seen with editor/stylist George Cortina.
If you ask me they make a great pair.

I couldn't help but wonder where I had seen these shoes before..

So I did a little research.. and there was the resemblance

The new Fall Loubotin boot Joe is perfect for the ice skater inspired look Ms. Parker wore to the MTV Movie Awards back in 2000..

I personally love the lace up boots, specially with socks.. (which by the way is one of the top trends for this Fall.)

What is this?

Is everyone being serious right now?
These rubber bracelets that come in all shapes and forms called "Silly bandz" (which I didn't know about :/ ) have apparently taken the market by a storm. It is all very nice and dandy when something new and innocent magically appears for kids to play with and be creative. That is one thing..but another thing is grown ups wearing them too.
It all started with Mary Kate Olsen.. and that is all fine and dandy but now Kelly Ripa too? and wait for it SJP... why???

...maybe I am just being insensitive towards this whole silly bandz craze situation, and it will grow on me like any other trend, but I refuse it for now.
Even though the more I talk about it the cuter I find the I will stop talking about it now.

Here is proof of our beloved Carrie

ohhh kids nowdays..

Frost-ify me

Today I better get happy readers because I am all over the place; from sunglasses, to songs, to flats, and last to jewelry!
This time is Lulu Frost jewelry. As you all know by now I am a lover of necklaces and for me the more dramatic the merrier. That's why Lulu Frost is music to my ears. Her pieces have an impeccable antique meets modern flare and a delicate aesthetic touch.
Most necklace pieces fall into the $ 400- $600 category but there are a lot of other cheaper options like earrings and bracelets to select from.

The best flats on the planet

Ok they might not be as cute as Miu Miu's or Chanel but these little flats sure have something!
One of my favorite girls Ms. Olivia Palermo is a fan so I decided to jump on the French Sole train and check them out.
French Sole is a Manhattan treasure for the fashionista on the go, because after eight hours in Tribute YSL I doubt anybody has the nerve to say that their feet don't hurt.
So for those of us who like comfort after a long day of clic's and these ballerina flats are a one cute, two inexpensive, and three comfortable solution.
They are available in about 300 styles to match individual tastes.
The Olivia and the Sloop are my favorite ones and the prices are $195 & $ 98.00.

Cute right?

You've got designer shades just to hide your face and you wear them around like you're cooler than me

I have never really been a sunglass person, but lately that seems to be all I want to shop for.. I think i might be that since in a month I turn the big 21 I can already see the near future of getting older and want to protect my eyes a little more..but that is just a theory of mine. It could also be that the new cat eye trend is so adorable and chic.

These white Tom Ford's have what it takes to win my heart so far..

and speaking of designer shades here is my new obsession/workout song/dancing solo song/ makes me feel happy song.. yes this one broke the record for being played 18 consecutive times on my iphone..but hey at least by now I know it by heart lol

Enjoy it before it gets played out!

pink shades a' la Chanel

I am in LOVE with these sunglasses so chic and lady gaga-ish at the same time!

As promised! and spoilers

THIS is what I wore to the SATC 2 premiere here in Miami.
I was feeling the whole middle eastern cultural vibe of the film, and as you can see I did a little repeating because some things are just meant to be worn more than once.

blouse: Zara, harem pants: DVF, bag: Chanel, shoes: Manolos, necklace: Bebe

As for the film. Where did they get the critics?? The movie was amazing!
A whole LOT more of the crazy Samantha we all know and love - a whole lot less of Steve (whom I can't stand) + a tiny bit of Aidan + clothes (ohhh the clothes) add all of that to an exotic set and divide by 4 wonderful ladies and you get = GREATNESS

The critics need to get with the program!

ok you can go ahead and read if you want to but I warned you.

There's only one thing worse than faking an orgasm: faking laughter. Shame on you, Sex and the City 2, for being a 2.5-hour laughless fake-a-thon that never finds the right spot.

Me: From what planet are you? Are you seriously telling me that Samantha claiming she has sex multiple times in the middle of a crowd of Middle Eastern conservative men isn't funny? Or what about the 80s flashbacks?.. and the nanny?? There were plenty of funny times. Besides if all you want to do is laugh watch comedy central, the girls are actresses not buffoons.

Whenever the light is just right and the angle is just plain wrong, each star gets an unflattering close-up that leaves them looking like drag-queen stand-ins.

Me: Is that why you didn't like the movie? Unflattering close-ups? Number one, anybody would be lucky to look like that at 40.. and number 2 then we wonder why celebrities and real women are put into so much pressure to meet unrealistic standards of beauty! If they use photoshop/editing then they are deceiving the public, oh but if they show a sign of aging then critics get offended.

Shoes, money, outfits, shoes, vagina, money, shoes, jewelry, outfits, money, shoes.

Me: It is SEX and the CITY not an Oscar nominated film so its content is not to be taken that seriously..  and what do women want to see? Shoes, outfits & money thank you very much!

And there you have it! Don't be mislead..see the movie for yourself maybe you like it or maybe you don't but at least you can form your own opinion :)
